Q: What is a RangerJarhead: A: An Army Airborne Ranger who is also a former United States Marine

Sua Sponte

U.S. Army Rangers are among the most elite, if not the most elite, combat soldiers in the world. Being a Ranger is a function of attitude and state of mind, as well as a matter of skill and training. It is the fraternity of a highly select group within the profession of arms that few will attempt to join and into which even fewer will be initiated.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight onto the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor. Rangers Lead The Way!

To be a Ranger is a mark of excellence indicating a degree of success that few will achieve. The challenge of being a Ranger is to prove your ability to lead and command while undergoing significant mental, emotional, and physical stress. For those who have mastered this challenge, the coveted title of "Army Ranger" is their reward.

Semper Fidelis

Marines are warriors. Comprised of smart, highly adaptable men and women, the Marine Corps serves as the aggressive tip of the U.S. military spear. Ours is a smaller, more dynamic force than any other in the American arsenal, and the only forward-deployed force designed for expeditionary operations by air, land, or sea. It is our size and expertise that allow us to move faster. Working to overcome disadvantage and turn conflict into victory, we accomplish great things, and we do so together.

  • Honor
  • Courage
  • Commitment

In the Marine Corps, there is a motto that describes our commitment to each other, our organization, and our country. It is Semper Fidelis or "Semper Fi." Translated from Latin, it means "Always Faithful."

RangerJarhead - Dale Rogers, last served SSG US Army - Infantry Squad Leader - OIF 2004

Former US Marine and a former US Army Airborne Ranger.

If you are a US Army Ranger with 75th RGR RGT or are a US Marine currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, know that your brothers are behind you 1000 percent. We are proud of you and we know the things you do in combat are what has to be done. Ignore the legal pukes and anti-American reporters & protesters with their Monday morning quarterbacking. They should be thrown into our world, then when they cry like little babies for their mom's while the insurgents slaughter them, maybe then their last dying thoughts would be of appreciation for the warriors brave enough to fight and kill cold evil monsters such as we fight. Thank you for doing what those meek timid ungrateful souls only wish that they were man enough to do. Semper Fi and Sua Sponte!

This website is dedicated to the only other RangerJarhead I have ever known, my fallen Brother, SSG Thomas E. Vitagliano. KIA OIF January 17, 2005 - www.thomasvitagliano.com

You'll never be forgotten!

Freedom is not free. Never forget our fallen brothers.
